Hello, I'm Kran, the developer of R6S.Skin. Ubisoft recently requested the closure of R6S.Skin, a fan-made website dedicated to providing Rainbow Six Siege players with a comprehensive and accessible database of all skins and cosmetic items. R6S.Skin has been used by hundreds of thousands of players, content creators, and esports participants, allowing them to view accurate and up-to-date information about the various cosmetic items in the game.

While Ubisoft cites concerns over the usage of their intellectual property, there is no other way to host a website that provides such an index. Other sites, such as R6Loot.com have been operating for years without action taken against them. Despite my best efforts in private communication, Ubisoft did not engage in discussion of possible alterations to the site, and maintained that it must be shut down.

We call upon Ubisoft to reconsider their stance and collaborate constructively with the operator of R6S.Skin. We fully believe that allowing the website to resume operations—with clear guidelines and Ubisoft's approval—would be valuable to the community and game as a whole.
